Industry 4.0 Embedded Systems Network


Abstract:

Nowadays, Industry 4.0 is based on integrated systems for the control of its processes, that is why in this research work, we describe the implementation of a network between Raspberry and Arduino for the control of a level plant. The plant has two different controllers designed specifically for level and flow control, one is an adaptive control and the other is a cascade control, for which we previously found the mathematical model and the optimal operating ranges. To control de input/output signals, we created an HMI to visualize them in a better way and to obtain the data in real time a code was designed in C++ language in Arduino. Finally, the results and conclusions that we obtained are that in spite of the disturbances that are made manually, they are minimally reflected in the output.
