Influence of Quality Management in social impact
Abstract:
Companies facing changing environments seek greater efficiency in the production of footwear, for this they manage the quality of the product; At the same time, it is known that industry influences the community. Therefore, the objective is to measure the influence of quality management on the footprint of the footwear sector. For this purpose, a descriptive approach is applied to 45 companies and 360 people in the community, located in the same geographic space. The results show that companies follow quality management criteria complying with 80% of indicators of the ISO 9001 standard, whose main weakness is the ability to detect new needs and adapt to change. In addition, it is observed the stakeholders of which the main beneficiary is the owner, employee and state; leaving outstanding debts in the environmental issue.
