Influence of competitiveness on economic growth

Abstract:

The objective of this article is to measure the influence that has the factors of productivity in the economic growth of nations. We used the information from the World Bank, who presented the Global Competitiveness Report 2011 - 2012 working with a sample of 100 countries. Under the perspective of the epistemology popperiana to compare the data obtained with the theories of Comparative and Competitive Advantage of Nations (Porter, 1990), then the statistical analysis it was concluded that the per capita GDP is positively relations with the factors of competitiveness.
