Influencia de las TIC de software libre en la calidad de desempeño escolar en los estudiantes de octavo grado de educación general básica superior de la Unidad Educativa Isabel Moscoso Dávila, distrito 1, provincia del Azuay, cantón Cuenca, periodo lectivo 2015-2016.

Abstract:

The general objective of this research is the need to examine the influence of free software ICT on the quality of school performance, through a bibliographical study, statistical and field analysis, in order to design a didactic guide focusing skills with Performance criteria. The object of study is the Educational Unit Isabel Moscoso Dávila, which has a trajectory of twenty years of educational service and is located in the parish Hermano Miguel, citadel Las Orquídeas, in Cuenca city, province of Azuay. It starts from the observation and investigation of the detection of problems in the school performance, reason why the proposal is directed to raise activities that allow developing the abilities and skills through a didactic guide using the TIC of free software, which will allow implementing new Teachinglearning methods. The research has been observational and retrospective, since the information was obtained directly from the detected location of the problem. It has been transversal, because the instrument of data collection of the survey has been applied, focused directly on the participating group of the sample conformed by managers, administrators, teachers and students of the Educational Unit. As a main result, it has been possible to verify the need for the use of software as educational resources within the classroom of great importance for both the teacher and the student, which is why a didactic guide is proposed with a focus on performance criteria in the classroom
