Influencia de los medios de comunicación sobre el estado nutricional de los niños de la Escuela Carlos Crespi II, Cuenca 2011


Abstract:

The objective of the present investigation was To identify the influence that has mass media on the nutritional state of niños/as of the school “Carlos Crespi II” of the city of River basin 2011. Methods and materials: A descriptive study was realized, in which the influence of mass media was investigated on the nutritional state of the children of the school “Carlos Crespi ll “. The sample was 158 children, of second to seventh basic year of education. For the obtaining of the information it was realized through surveys to niños/as, control of weight, it charts, and it was related to the age. Previous to the development of the procedures, the authorization of the parents by means of the registry of the informed consent was asked for. Once obtained the data it was come to the analysis of the data by means of the program of Excel and Word. With the results of the investigation a nutritional proposal for the family parents was elaborated in order to improve the feeding of its children. Results: The mass media that are influencing in the nutritional state of niños/as of the school “Carlos Crespi II” are; 98 niños/as that sees TV (62.02%), 35 use computer (22.16%), 15 niños/as listen to radio (9.49%), 10 read magazines, newspapers (6.33%), are influenced by these average ones what causes that they consume but foods supported in the different programmings.
