Influencia del clima laboral en el compromiso organizacional del Personal Docente de una Unidad Educativa de Cuenca - Azuay


Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to establish the influence of the work environment in the organizational commitment of the teaching staff that works in the UETS (Unidad Educativa Tecnico Salesiano) located in Cuenca, Azuay, Ecuador, which has been affected by a constant separation of teachers during recent years. This study was carried out with a sample of 34 teachers. It is mixed because it manages qualitative and quantitative information and in addition, it uses the explanatory method. Also, its nature is inductive and analytical because it uses the survey technique with two questionnaires for the collection of data: Survey of Labor Climate (ECL) of Ricardo Valenzuela and survey of Organizational Commitment (ECO) of Meyer and Allen. After the comparative analysis carried out, the results are: a work environment of 80.2%, with 84.4% of an affective commitment, 70.2% of a normative commitment and a 61% commitment of continuity. With these data, it is concluded that the work environment does influence the organizational commitment of its teachers; therefore, to generate a greater commitment, strategies that will enhance the existing work environment must be chosen.
