Influencia química y microbiológica de las aguas del rio Guayas sobre la calidad de las aguas del rio Daule, en la zona de la toma de agua potable durante los meses de octubre, noviembre y diciembre año 2001

Abstract:

The present thesis, has for as main objective the study of the Chemical influence and Microbiologic that the River Guayas that represents the biggest Hydrological system in the coast west of America of the south, can have on the River Daule one of the tributary rivers that form it. The query for the study is born to the knowledge that the River Guayas, when possessing a much bigger volume that the River Daule possesses big flow variations due to the movement characteristic of the tides, for this reason during the states of ascent of tides the entrance of seawaters takes place, that would also make that the whole load of silts and the other pollutants that it drags the River Guayas, spread to return current up, being verified a negative influence then from the River Guayas, toward the River that they form it. The interest of the present study is to verify if this influence exists, of being this way, to verify the grade incidence of the Polluted Means as it is it the River Guayas, on the non polluted Means, as it is it the River Daule. To be more necessary in the investigation has taken as central point of analysis the area where the Plant resides of treatments of Water for the city of Guayaquil that is the area denominated as The Taking and that this located in the banks of the River Daule to 25 kilometers I laugh up at the city of Guayaquil. It was carried out an analytic prospective study, taking like reference the suitable parameters as obligatory of completing in the effective Law of Waters for the Republic of Ecuador, the taking of samples was made during the months of summer end these they are October, November and December of the year 2001 and, they were implemented five additional sampling stations additionally to analyze the quality of both rivers
