Information and Communication Technologies (TIC) in Education to Shape Democratic Societies


Abstract:

This research aims to analyze the opportunities that information and communication technologies (ICT) present to contemporary education in order to shape democratic societies. In this sense, it arises to coordinate pedagogical models based on solidarity and tolerance as human rights that allow coexistence. The dialogic-participatory paradigm is promoted as a skill that enables dialogue and action as a commitment to common ways of life. Emphasizes plurality as a distinction to value in the best relationships. Educating always means teaching together and for others; meanwhile, knowledge is a consensus that weaves coexistence. It is a diachronic bibliographic study from the rationalist approach.
