Innovative behavior at the ecuadorian university: A multivariate analysis


Abstract:

The research analyzes the innovative behavior in Ecuadorian universities; for constituting an alternative that adds value to the development of the country, and to the objectives set by the Higher Education Institutions, in this case three Ecuadorian universities. An instrumental study was carried out with all the students enrolled in the first semester 2019, the pilot random sample contained 1500 participants from a total of 4200 students from the Guayaquil State University, Ecotec Technological University and the Milagro State University. It was applied in exploratory factor analysis, cronbach’s alpha and HJ-Biplot. When analyzing the innovative behavior in Ecuadorian university education, it was evident that several of the defined characteristics are present; which vary according to the characteristics of each university, as well as its public or private nature. With respect to entrepreneurship and the entrepreneur, it is necessary to measure more precise characteristics, in the context of multilevel models of factors associated with the types of ties and ties that are formed in classrooms, where it is very important to be surrounded by key people at the time to innovate.
