Insuficiencia renal crónica correlacionada con hipertención arterial diabetes mellitus, factores de riesgo en adultos mayores atendidos en el Hospital Martín Icaza de Babahoyo de enero a diciembre 2015
Abstract:
In this research, we can say that chronic kidney disease is a public health problem both by high rates of morbidity and mortality, such as investment of human and financial resources. In the Hopital Martin IcazaBabahoyo depicted as the fourth leading cause of death and every month 20 new cases are reported. The Ecuador Coast Region is characterized by the highest incidence rates, so research work was designed to meet the major risk factors. The universe comprised 100% of patients presenting to hospital and patients seen in the outpatient hospital of the Medical Unit of Martin Icaza Hospital Babahoyo, an interview form was designed with open and closed questions aimed at patients older adults with hypertension or diabetes, that met all inclusion criteria (Freire, Belmont, & Mendieta, 2013). The following results were obtained: The male / female ratio was 2.59; with an average age of 69.9 years, predominant age group of 60-74 years. The highest percentage corresponds to the occupation of 29.59% followed by unemployed housewife with 11.00%; with respect to the specific overall rates predominance in the frequent use of insecticide 56.41% Urinary Tract Infection 47.44%, and prolonged use of analgesics 30.77% of cases respectively were found (Freire, Belmont, & Mendieta, 2013). Analyzing rates by sex, we found that in women, pharyngotonsillitis represents 81.82%; Frequent use of insecticides 68.18%; Urinary Tract Infection 50.00%; the frequent use of analgesics 45.45%; With respect to male frequent use of insecticides it corresponds to 51.80%; frequent use of antibiotics 48.20%; urinary tract infection frequently 46.40.
