Integrated strategic management system: Decision making for Higher Education Institutions

Abstract:

Currently, having an information system in Higher Education Institutions is not a luxury, it is a necessity. The processes developed through the basic functions are the main joint that must be automated as it is necessary to have different aspects to support decision making and efficiency, reliability, interactivity, time optimization and various benefits for all the users. For this reason, the Israel Technological University has developed an Integrated System of Strategic Management, with generic characteristics for Higher Education Institutions, starting from the lifting of the process. Obtaining as result the optimization in the majority of processes, it is necessary to mention that the stage of development still is in a 74%.
