Integration of the program theory and criteria for the Evaluation of Educational Programs and Projects


Abstract:

Evaluation is important for organizations' planning and control, impacting on Projects and Programs' short, mid, and long-term outcomes and decision making processes, implemented by Non-governmental Organizations and National Government Bodies International and Local. The study highlights the integrated use of a program theory model and criteria for evaluation design. The goal is to propose basic criteria to design an evaluation for Education Programs and Projects, implemented in local communities. The used method is descriptive, considering the review of evaluation specialized literature: analysis of descriptive case studies for evaluation design and critical situation based case study analysis -applying an integrating evaluation design model proposed for the Education Program of Bolivar Area Development Program - World Vision Bolivia, implemented in 2014.
