Análisis de la Aplicación del Reglamento de Comunicación Intercultural en el Diario El Comercio y El Telégrafo en el mes de agosto del 2015

Abstract:

This document analyzes the application of the Intercultural Communication Regulation in Ecuador in two newspapers: one private - El Comercio - and another public - El Telégrafo. It started with an analysis of the meaning that the law assigns to the concept "interculturality", from which it establishes the level of application and inclusion of the diverse that characterizes the country in the mentioned means. The methodology included the analysis of two concepts of intercultural contents published in the month of August, 2015, an occasion of political agitation by the indigenous movements during the Great National March. Authors who have addressed the issue of interculturality have also been approached to arrive at a theoretical approach and to confront how this term is conceived in the law and in its application.
