Análisis de la Cadena Logística de la Exportación de Cacao en la Provincia del Guayas, Año 2021

Abstract:

However, it had to adapt to the new work modality, managing to continue operating normally. The export logistics chain is important because it allows all the processes and means to be carried out to export cocoa, from the beginning to the end. The general objective of this study was to analyze the cocoa export logistics chain in the Province of Guayas in 2021, and to carry out this qualitative approach study, the interview addressed to three experts was used as an information collection technique. With the results obtained, it was concluded that the export logistics chain is relevant in cocoa exporting companies in the province of Guayas, because it allows exports to be carried out efficiently, benefiting and allowing good results for companies. In 2021, the logistics chain after the pandemic and the difficulties in the logistics processes, shipment delays after the security protocol, lack of supervision and slowness on the part of the operators, the implementation of a "Just in Time" system ( JIT)" that helps optimize and improve both internal and external processes of the export logistics chain.
