Interaction and usability of mobile communication technology in knowledge management


Abstract:

Mobile communication technologies are present as high-potential tools for the development of higher education. Therefore, in this study it is applied in a sample of 80 students in order to measure the acceptability of mobile learning and the effectiveness of the cellular device called Microcosmos® in the context of exact sciences. The results demonstrate an 88% acceptability on the part of the students in the use of this type of devices and 91% of effectiveness of the implemented device, allowing this way to conclude that this type of learning strengthens the professional profile of the student, optimizes the capacities of interaction and communication, besides generating an educational well-being outside the classroom of classes by means of activities supported in curricular content and promoted through applications adapted to smartphones.
