Interculturality and Ancestral Knowledge in Higher Education; Study of Case Chimborazo-Ecuador.
Abstract:
The ancestral knowledge is indigenous knowledge based on the sensuous, integrative, quotient, affective and aesthetic conception, the teaching of indigenous knowledge proposes to promote the harmony and balance of the Rune (human being) and the Pachamama (earth); In contrast the higher education that the universities impart, refers to tertiary studies, which is achieved through a process of academic formation. Here the researcher collects, synthesizes and defines the scope of ancestral knowledge, the methodology they use in teaching, the epistemological foundations and the challenges facing higher education in the current conjuncture.
