International logistics as a competitiveness factor in Bolivian exports


Abstract:

The objective of the research is to identify the factors of the Logistics Performance Index that will generate competitive advantages for Bolivian exports. In Bolivia there are 451 companies that have export as an economic activity, and a survey is carried out to 189 companies. The tools used for the analysis of the data was the Analysis of Principal Components that allowed to know the position that Bolivia occupies with its exports in front of countries of South America; Subsequently, the Critic Method is applied, which determines the weight assigned to the attributes, and finally the Factorial Analysis of Correspondences, which identifies the perception that Bolivian exporters have of the attributes of the logistic performance index. Thus, obtaining competitive advantages is subject to various factors, punctuality in the delivery of products, basing their sales on trust and compliance with delivery deadlines.
