Intervención organizacional para reducir el ausentismo en la empresa ODCON S.A. Avance 1- A.


Abstract:

Absenteeism at work is a very important indicator when it comes to measuring the efficiency of processes in a company. The reasons why an employee is absent from his job can be varied. In certain cases they may be due to situations beyond the control of the individual or the company, such as the following; cases of disease, domestic calamities or atypical situations of a more complex socioeconomic order, such as the one currently caused by the health crisis of covid-19. The object of this study was the company ODCON S.A. This company is dedicated to the manufacture of hydraulic concrete mixed in the plant and carries out construction services for both public and private works. It has 15 administrative employees and a group of permanent workers, hired permanently, which is made up of 60 employees. The central problem arises since, once all these measures required by law have been fulfilled, there is 50% of personnel absenteeism. When consulting the reasons for this, the majority expressed, in summary, that their absenteeism is due to fear of contracting the virus. Based on these results, strategies will be developed that adapt to the reality of the collaborators and the company. Among the main strategies that are implemented in the solution are prevention measures at a general level, health measures taken by the company and motivational talks that affirm the feeling of Alliance between the worker and the company.
