Intervención urbano- arquitectónica del sector de los bloques habitacionales, Sauces 6- Guayaquil.

Abstract:

In the Sauces 6 sector, it is possible to demonstrate the deficit of public and collective spaces that encourage the realization of physical, cultural, and recreational activities; the lack of maintenance and poor condition of public spaces as well as the collective areas was critical in times of COVID for the sector as they had to overcome confinement limited to their apartments and few collective areas, encouraging more and more sedentary lifestyle and leisure in the citizens besides of increasing the sense of segregation and insecurity in the buildings. This generates damage to the urban image of the northern sector of the city. Therefore, the development of the urban architectural intervention in the sector of the multi-family apartments of Sauces 6 will help improve the quality of life of the residents and inhabitants together, contributing to the urban image of the northern sector of the city. This study and project propose functional collective spaces where economic, cultural, recreational, and sports activities can be developed, including green areas. According to these parameters, the urban project is formulated where a solution is given to the needs of the inhabitants, the project is integrated with the development of urban criteria and strategies that reconfigure the place of intervention and thus provide security, control, and well-being to the sector of the multi-family apartments
