Intervention project proposal for the integration of english as a regular subject of the curriculum design of the academic units of the Universidad Politécnica Salesiana
Abstract:
Teachers of the Universidad Politecnica Salesiana are worried about the continuous droppings out of students. Many can be the causes students have to drop out from English classroom; for example: inappropriate schedules, lack of time, many tasks to fulfill for other subjects, lack of motivation, work and studies. These inconveniences can cause serious trouble in the teaching and learning process, being the result seen the studentsï decisions to continue or not taking English courses. With this work, we have done some investigative tasks, in order to know the real causes for these studentsï dropping outs and have also made a proposal that can help students to continue studying English with more interest and motivation.
