Investigación y difusión de artículos científicos de los docentes en las revistas indexadas de la Universidad Politécnica Salesiana sede Guayaquil año 2012

Abstract:

The purpose of the present study is the analysis of the research, writing, and publishing processes of scientific articles developed by the faculty staff of the Salesian Polytechnic University – Guayaquil, as well as the design of a Research and dissemination system that allows strengthening those processes, supporting and accompanying the faculty members through the referred research tasks. The proposal of this study is based on a feasible project that will help to improve the Research and Publishing levels and indicators of scientific articles at the Guayaquil university campus. The modality of the present work is based on field and bibliographic research, which is why it was necessary to design surveys that were applied to the faculty of the Guayaquil Campus in order to describe the existing problems and find out the reasons for the low indicators of Research and Publishing of Scientific articles and this way, offer a solution that will help to accomplish this commendable work of generating knowledge. It is worth mentioning that the subject of this research is of significant relevance because nowadays the Ecuadorian Universities are going through a process of change in which the role of the Research faculty is fundamental in the construction of knowledge and its dissemination through the academic networks that form a transversal axis in the XXI century education. This project will enable to increase the amount of research works and publications of scientific articles authored by the faculty staff of the Salesian Polytechnic University of Guayaquil
