Isolation of Salmonella in slaughterhouse pigs and remitted pigs to the laboratory
Abstract:
10641 samples of different viscera and organs from 452 pigs from slaughterhouses and todiagnosis laboratory, were analyzed isolating 30,9 and 4,4% Salmonella strains respectively. The highest detection in the isolations corresponded to small intestine (42,1%), liver (31,9%). The highest frequency in all the strains isolated in both categories of our investigation, corresponded to B and C serogroups.
