Job skills as a factor in optimizing human capital management in the accommodation sector of Cotopaxi-Ecuador: case of the tourism and hotel managers graduated from ESPE-Latacunga
Abstract:
The accommodation sector requires productive and efficient professionals to optimize the production of products/services in hotel establishments, which contributes to the great responsibility that the tourism faculty of the province has to be able to meet the needs of Cotopaxi companies. Therefore, this article aims to analyze the tourism and hospitality degree graduatescompetencies from the ESPE-Latacunga as an optimization factor of the human management capital of the accommodation sector of the province of Cotopaxi-Ecuador. The methodology is quantitative, explanatory, mathematical-statistical, field (non-experimental) exploratory, descriptive scope and bibliographic documentary with the use of the SPSS statistical package. The results are framed in the importance of the role of the tourism and hospitality degree graduates labor competencies in that it positively affects the optimization of human capital management in the accommodation sector of Cotopaxi as demonstrated in the correlation matrices and because, meet the parameters of knowledge in administration, economics, tourism, hospitality, accounting, marketing, more that were acquired throughout their student career.
