KNOWLEDGE NEEDS OF THE POPULATION OF THE CANTON OF BABAHOYO REGARDING THE FUNDAMENTAL RIGHT TO WATER
Abstract:
One of the greatest challenges for institutions of higher education today is to train professionals who are critical of the current development of our society and who are capable of acting in the three fundamental pillars, such as the economic, social and environmental pillars, and to achieve a more sustainable development with natural resources, and this education must permeate the physical spaces of the university, in order to make a global and integral reading of the environment and to involve the problems with the natural resource water in all aspects of university life. The results were processed through the V.A. Iadov technique for the study of satisfaction with respect to the proposed topic. A large part of the people are still unaware of their rights to water consumption, established in the Ecuadorian constitution. This study exposes the knowledge that the students of the educational centers have about the right and the concepts related to water and its educational implications.
