LA COMUNICACIÓN ASERTIVA
Abstract:
The present research addressed the subject of assertive communication and how it is related to teaching performance, the latter that needs to be analyzed to find solution points to the weaknesses it presents, this work aimed to determine the way in which communication assertive influence on teaching performance within the UTB. The methodology had a purpose such as Applied, mixed approach and a Descriptive and Explanatory (causal) scope, where the design was non-experimental, cross-sectional, a sample of 85 people was obtained, made up of teachers and students of the FCJSE. The results showed that assertive communication has a very significant level of influence on the characteristics of teaching performance such as professional training, the formative nature and its orientation towards the achievement of competences, placing emphasis on Thematic Domain, Strategies, Evaluation, Design of classes, Use of resources, Communicate objectives, Increase of capacities, Increase of skills and Increase of skills Concluding that the characteristics that show assertive communication are: Eye contact, content, tone of voice, clarity, location, opportunity, the body posture that facilitate the relationship and communication between teachers and students, and considering the statistical results, it was determined that assertive communication affects teacher performance with an r= 0.756, which shows that the better assertive communication better teaching performance.
