La Economía Popular y Solidaria y su incidencia en las PYMES del cantón Santo Domingo, provincia Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas. Periodo 2016-2019.
Abstract:
This research work focuses on the popular and solidarity economy, recognized through the constitution of Ecuador in 2008, as an alternative economic system, in response to capitalism that did not consider the human being within the economic and productive system. It is also aimed at small and medium-sized companies that are attached to the popular and solidarity economy, which are the fundamental mechanism of the country's business fabric. The main objective of this research is to analyze the incidence of the popular and solidarity economy in the development of PYME in the Santo Domingo de los Colorados city. Period 2016-2019, revealing the main economic indicators of the city, the legal registry of the organizations of the financial and non-financial sector of the popular and solidarity economy, the total number of PYME assigned to this sector, the evolution of employment and the volume of cbkp_redits granted by PSE entities. To carry out this research, official sources were consulted in the databases of the Superintendency of popular and solidarity economy, the Ecuadorian Institute of Statistics and Censuses, and the Central Bank. Depending on the applied research technique, no survey or interview instruments were used. The results of the investigation showed that the participation of the organizations attached to the PSE in the studied territory is still discreet, however necessary based on their contribution to economic development
