Abstract:

This research exposes the importance of user participation in the process of architectural design of housing and the need for architecture students to know the true role to be performed by architects at the service of society with emphasis on the concept of architecture as a tool capable of improving the quality of life of people through social participation in the process of architectural design. An applicable to matters of "Workshop of architectural projects I and II" where architecture students are going to learn to involve users in the design process-from start to finish using various tools of social participation methodology arises. This methodology will allow students to be trained to know and discern the true architectural needs very carefully considering their tastes and requirements so users can practice it in a way which social and professional ethics will prevail
