La crisis sanitaria COVID-19 y su efecto en el mercado laboral de las microempresas de Guayaquil en el Sector manufacturero, periodo 2019-2021

Abstract:

Covid - 19 is a disease that began to affect Ecuador since April 2020, regarding employment, the research conducted is framed in the city of Guayaquil, it will be possible to observe how this pandemic affects employment levels and their consequences on the other research variables taken by the authors. The concepts and theories used in the research are closely related to employment, the labor market, the level of production and microenterprises in the manufacturing sector. The methodology used is mixed since a qualitative and quantitative investigation was conducted, in addition to this, the methodology details the execution of an econometric model that associates the sales of thirty companies taken as a non-probabilistic sample of an intentional type and the number of jobs. of these in the period from 2019 to 2021. The results indicated that the pandemic had a negative influence within this sector, causing the level of employability to decrease. Likewise, a proposal is made where the solution to the lack of adequate employment in this sector is mentioned
