La didáctica de la lectura en el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje de los estudiantes del octavo año de Educación Básica Superior de la Unidad Educativa "Cusubamba", año lectivo 2020-2021.
Abstract:
The reading didactics in the teaching and learning process in the eighth graders at Unidad Educativa “Cusubamba” is a significant process for the cognitive and neurodidactic development. It is due to the fact that it stimulates the brain’s work through the integration of the reading comprehension which motivates the creativity, improve imagination and self esteem. Based on this premise, the main purpose of this research work was to design appropriate methodological strategies for the teaching and learning process of reading didactics in the eighth graders. Thus, a mixed methodology approach has been used since quantitative and qualitative aspects about the topic were inquired based on to documentation of primary sources as well as the data collection which were statistically processed to find a proposal which leads to the problem solving. It was called methodological strategies "Exploring the Reading Didactics”. It is integrated by tasks inside interactive didactic activities related to the legends, tales, myths, fables and tongue twisters always considering the context of the Directed Reading, Thinking Activity (DRTA) because of its acronym in English which promotes the reading comprehension. Among the results obtained, it is established that before the proposal the 63% of the students lacked of an appropriate reading domain in the reading didactics praxis. It is since they do not practice it frequently. Fortunately, this new methodology has awaken the students’ interest in reading habits because the 92% of young learners have showed better motivation and comprehension capacity when reading stories of their preference, legends or tongue twisters among their favorites.
