La enseñanza de la historia del Ecuador como herramienta para reforzar la Identidad Nacional.


Abstract:

This current educational Project stablishes how to strengthen the national identity or patriotism from 1st BGU students that are part of the “Dr Francisco Huerta Rendon” school through the review of national history. This research aims to provide the teacher with tools and sources that will allow them to contribute to the strengthening of their students’ patriotism. This study has been developed through the use of dependent and independent variables which are based in concordance. Therefore, research and observational processes had to take place to acquire adequate data which turned out being contributive to the study. This research was performed by using qualitative, quantitative, bibliographical, explicative and descriptive methodologies. Tools, techniques and processes such as observation, surveys and interviews were utilized. These, allowed the gathering of information and helped proving some lacking when it comes to the development of young people national identity which is mainly caused due to the use of foreign cultural elements and lack of review regarding national history. Therefore, several didactic activities have been developed to build up the feeling of belonging somewhere for students.
