Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of the use of a flipped class on academic performance. Which takes as a reference some of the principles of the flipped classroom and collaborative work. According to the methodology used, it was classified as descriptive, quantitative and applied parametric, being its pre-experimental research design. The population consisted of students of the students of the 5th Semester of the Pedagogy of Experimental Sciences in Mathematics and Physics career, using 17 students as a sample to which a pre and post evaluation of 10 questions referring to Coulomb's law. Which gave us, with a 95% reliability, a significant differentiation of means in the statistical analysis of the results; indicating that the use of a flipped class improves academic performance. This implies that students respond positively to the Perusall platform as a tool for collaborative work.
