Abstract:
This article presents the essential elements that characterize the research teacher training process in the Early Childhood Education program at the National University of Education of Ecuador. It establishes the characteristics and relationships between the essence of research training and the didactic training of the research process, as well as the tools and benefits provided by the university's virtual campus platform to achieve the proposed objectives. Thus, the essential elements of the interaction and mediation of Information and Communication Technologies and their influence on the formation of research skills are established. The scientific method was used, as well as an adequate theoretical systematization of the referents to support the proposal, which evidenced satisfactory levels in the students' modes of action in which they show research skills for the solution of problems they identify in their professional practices.
