Análisis de la disminución del ruido en el estándar de audio DAB

Abstract:

In this article an analysis is carried out regarding the amount of noise in the audio signals belonging to the DAB (Digital audio Broadcasting) system, simulated using the MatLab software. For this, a comparison was made between the signals obtained at the output of the DAB system with and without the use of an adaptive filter, allowing to know to what degree the signal quality improves when filtered. For this purpose, measurement techniques such as the BER (Bit Error Rate) and the signal-to-noise ratio in different stages of the system were used and compared by power variations through the AWGN channel in the system, in this way a noise reduction in audio signals that were filtered system, in this way a noise reduction in audio signals that were filtered compared to unfiltered signals.
