Análisis de la distribución del ingreso en el Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado del cantón Montalvo y su impacto en la economía local período 2015-2020

Abstract:

This research consists of demonstrating how the distribution of income has been carried out by the decentralized autonomous government of the Montalvo canton has occurred during the period 2015-2020 and its impact on the local economy. The study carried out manages to show that, within the administrations of the municipality, there has not been an equitable distribution for the improvement of basic works required by the population, even more so in the winter season due to the overflow of the Crystal and Santa rivers. Rose. During the development of the theoretical framework, it is established through theories in which the research premises consist, achieving scientific support for the project carried out. Subsequently, under the applied methodology, it is carried out through a non-experimental design with a descriptive approach, the method of observation and data collection is also applied for the demonstration of the hypothesis through interviews with the former mayors of the canton and surveys to the population. Finally, it is possible to demonstrate the approval of the hypothesis due to the results presented by the financial statements of the GAD during the period 2015-2020, finding shortcomings in the increase in current expenditure due to the excessive payroll of the municipality and the decrease in fixed expenditure by the reduction of public works ensuring that there is no increase on the local development of the canton and at the provincial level
