La expansión del sector camaronero y su influencia en el agro ecuatoriano. Año 2021

Abstract:

The objective of this research is to analyze the expansion of the shrimp sector and its influence on Ecuadorian agriculture in the period 2021. The methodology applied a mixed approach (qualitative and quantitative), where the qualitative approach focused on answering the research questions posed together with the hypothesis. In addition, data collection, processing and analysis. The quantitative approach included a literature review for the construction of a theoretical, conceptual and contextual framework. It was concluded that the agricultural sector has lost strength since, over time, the modernization of the sector has been sought to stop exporting only raw material and add value to it. The difference between planted and harvested areas shows how, due to different factors, crops are lost and this causes losses for small farmers. Meanwhile, the shrimp sector has shown greater expansion even during the pandemic.
