Análisis de la evolución de los indicadores socioeconómicos del cantón Jipijapa, provincia de Manabí en el período 2010-2019

Abstract:

The objective of this work was to analyze the development of the Jipijapa canton, province of Manabí through the poverty and inequality indicators in the period 2010-2019. To obtain this quantitative approach was used, through the descriptive and explanatory methodology, in which information was collected from the 2010 Population Census. Therefore a cantonal PDOT and a field study was carried out, where a socio economic survey was applied. The Population identified for the present study has a total of 382 households, taking into account all the parishes of the Jipijapa canton. For a complete collection of information many aspects were required to include, such as housing, access to basic services, social inclusion, education, health and family income. These aspects were included to determine the situations in which the people find themselves. Also in terms of their improved quality of life, such as obtaining negative aspects in the service of drinking water, sewerage, and garbage collection. In addition to gaining information about management regarding social programs and projects. This achieves stagnation in the development of the Jipijapa canton
