Análisis de la evolución del sector manufacturero del Ecuador y su incidencia en el cambio de la matriz productiva, período 2013-2019.

Abstract:

This research has focused on the evolution of the Ecuadorian manufacturing sector and whether it has driven in the transformation of the productive matrix, due to the fact that the country's economy has a significant participation in the primary sector, but the change of the productive matrix is focused on turning the country into an exporter product of assets and services of higher added value. The main objective of the research was to analyze the evolution of the manufacturing sector with respect to the change in the productive matrix from 2013 to 2019. A methodology with a quantitative approach was proposed, with documentary research, a non-experimental design in a cross-sectional and correlational manner. The evolution of the manufacturing sector is evaluated and the incidence of the change in the productive matrix is determined by the application of an econometric model, with the Ordinary Least Squares Linear Regression Model.
