La mediación como mecanismo de solución de conflictos en materia de niñez y adolescencia

Abstract:

The subject of this grade-level work is “The mediation as a mechanism to solve Childhood and Teenage conflicts” Its objective is to analyze the application and treatment of the mediation, as an alternative method to solve childhood and teenage conflicts, by focusing on the current problems of the Ecuadorian childhood and teenage courts. This investigation is based on the analysis of the Ecuadorian legislation in matters of mediation, specifically, in the childhood and teenage conflicts. Therefore, exploratory, descriptive, applied, explicative and historic levels of study have been completed. This has allowed seeing the present facts, from their origin or from their prior development stages and, compares them with their current characteristics. It has been also done an analysis of the comparative law, regarding family mediation in childhood and teenage problems, in countries like Spain, Argentina and Colombia.
