La motivación intrínseca en el aprendizaje de los orígenes y las primeras culturas de la humanidad


Abstract:

The present study has been developed with the purpose of developing the intrinsic motivation of sophomore/10th grade students of the high school "República de Venezuela" in the learning of the subjects that contains the first unit of the History and Social Sciences book denominated “History, culture and work” that belongs to "The Origin and the first cultures of humanity" academic block. The literature review is framed in the content generated by the variables operationalization process. As for the approach of this project, it is of mixed type (qualitative and quantitative) based on a field research, descriptive, propositive and bibliographical in which were used: A survey applied to the students, beneficiaries of the proposal and an interview to the social studies subject teacher and the school principal. Thanks to the results obtained with these instruments, the proposal, based on the problem, was designed: lack of motivation. The implementation of a three-dimensional virtual classroom (3D) is proposed as a solution to the problem because, it is very probable that it will make possible the increasing of the interest of the students to learn and reinforce what was learned during class using a new educational platform developed into a virtual world which is much more attractive than the conventionally used methods, so learning will become a dynamic and fun task without leaving aside its formative aspect.
