La mujer y su reincidencia en relaciones violentas : factores subjetivos implicados en la elección de pareja.

Abstract:

The following work titled, “A woman and her relapse in violent relationships: subjective factors involved partner choice” will be presented through a bibliographic breakdown from the psychoanalytic perspective, social perspective, and gender perspective; where it will make reference to those individual subconscious characteristics of the subject and, more specifically, of the feminine jouissance, which pushes the woman to repeat and maintain violent circles through choice of partner. In other words, what will be studied is the choice of partner as a havoc, where the relationship is lived through unlimited jouissance, thus making it lethal in contrast to the way of love; as well as the particularity of what becomes unbearable for someone who has endured the limitless within that context of violence, and that, at the same time, allows her to question herself, ask for help, or create new constructs in regards to the feminine; with which, subsequently, a choice of partner will be possible for her as a symptom. Put differently, outside of that circle of repetition, providing a new subjective position.
