La propuesta de Enrique Dussel de la transmodernidad como una de las alternativas frente a la globalización neoliberal

Abstract:

The present work has as objective to argue from the point of view historical- philosophical the proposal of Enrique Dussel called transmodernity, which we present as one of the alternatives theoretical-práctical against neoliberal globalization. This alternative leads to the description of the geopolitical, historical and academic conditions in which transmodernity emerges and develops. Then, from new philosophical categories and from the application of a new method, It is possible the construction of new philosophical, historical and epistemic speeches, different from any pretension of a totalitarian universality. These speeches are aimed at a "pluriversetransmodern" where they recognizes, respects and coexists with the "Other" in conditions of equity. The transmodernity is framed within the Latin American thought that has emerged globally since the middle of the 20th century up to the present. This proposal has as objective, responding to the social economic-political-cultural-environmental injustices of the capitalist and neo-liberal system.
