La tocolisis en embarazadas de 30 a 36 semanas de gestación con diagnostico amenaza de parto pretérmino


Abstract:

Tocolysis is the therapeutic approach aplicable to pregnant women with threatened preterm delivery, which has had a favorable response by reversing this diagnosis in order to protect the life of the fetus. The objective Will be to analyze the action of tocolysis in pregnant women between 30 and 36 weeks of gestation with a diagnosis of threatened preterm birth attended at the Matilde Hidalgo Specialized Hospital in Procel during the period May to September 2021.The methodology was observational, descriptive of cross section, with a sample of 215 patients, a data collection sheet was applied. Main results: Sociodemographic characteristics, age group 18-21 years with 33.0%; the incident gestational age is 35 weeks with 22.3%; secondary educational level in 73.5%; low socioeconomic level in 75.3%; Maternal personal pathological history associated with threatened preterm birth is urinary tract infection with 16.2%; maternal complications that trigger a threat of preterm birth is premature rupture of membranes with 11.6%; the incident symptoms in patients with threatened preterm birth are cervical modifications with 33.4%; the therapeutic behavior that is most applied is admission to hospitalization with 51.6%; the most effective tocolytic in this complication is nifedipine with 50.7%; and in the diagnosis of discharge of the patients the reversal of the threat of preterm delivery predominates with 52.0%
