La técnica Alexander dentro del proceso somático en el aprendiz de actuación; aportes para la consciencia corporal y la relajación en el training actoral
Abstract:
This thesis is an investigation based on the basic concepts developed by Matthias Alexander in his research on body awareness, relaxation and the integration of mind, body and emotions. This research starts from the concept of individuality, the pursuit of elevated bodily consciousness and the unity of being: mind-body-emotions through the exercises of the Alexander technique. These concepts were used in the design of an actoral training for the performance apprentice. This training will help to maintain organicity in the action and also eliminate tensions. It helps the unlearning of habits of body postures learned throughout our life, that unbalance our sensory well-being. The constant practice of the Alexander technique is able to give a new way of understanding our body, our individuality and the world, in the creative field is also manifested by helping us in artistic creation. When the body is free of tension, it feels better, and when the mind is in balance we also have the balance and control of our emotions. Furthermore, our work as actors and actresses flows naturally, which is one of the concepts of this technique. When we have achieved high levels of consciousness and integration of mind and body, creative artistic work is enriched in unimaginable ways. And in the performance apprentice, this state encourages a learning without tensions.
