Language and ideology and values, a challenge for students and teachers in Ecuador

Abstract:

Our objective is to know if there are differences in the different dimensions that make up media competences in university students and non-university professors in Ecuador. A total of 1,616 students and 642 teachers were surveyed and their answers analyzed. There are differences in results in terms of dimensions. The level of Ideology is that of students below the teaching staff. Indicating that we must train differently both university students and non-university professors in media competitions.
