Las dinámicas familiares desde una visión sistémica en la Aldea Infantil SOS, Cuenca en el período 2011-2012
Abstract:
“The Villages” is a social development organization, for more than 60 years, focused on rights, and a pioneer in the placement and support program of children and adolescents (NNA) deprived of parental care or to whom that are at risk of losing it. Its model ensures the development of children and adolescents in family and community environments, it is an organization that is convinced that the family is the ideal space for their development. One of the more relevant problems that is facing the Ecuadorian society today is given by the existence of a growing number of children and adolescents that are lacking guarantees of their rights, and this group of people (NNA= children and adolescents) cannot be reintegrated into their biological families. In addition, they also fail to be adopted because there are not enough qualified (national and foreign) families, that are willing to do this difficult decision like an adoption, making them stay in care institutions indefinitely, denying to be closer to a family life opportunity. This paper presents a detailed study of children and adolescents and it proposes the development of actions and lines to promote a systemic vision of family dynamics in the homes of child placement, by allowing the children and adolescents NNA program on a better reintegration or adoption; concomitantly it proposes a mode of the Family foster care homes that becomes a valid alternative in many unique opportunities to develop.
