Abstract:

This present work of order degree is to analyze the impact of personal and cognitive characteristics of financial managers in making enterprises decisions. 80% of managers object of study are find in charge by enterprises, that according to the Superintendency of Companies of Ecuador belong to the empresarial ranking with more assets of the city of Loja; likewise, the remaining 20% of managers according to the Superintendency of Popular Economy and Solidarity, and the Superintendency of Banks are find in charge of financial institutions. In the main results obtained of this investigation, it has been determined that the managers object study have decided and have risked according to traits that dominate their personality (emotional stability (ES), tenacity (T) and open mind (OM)) along with their level of knowledge, however, factors that have been decisive and influential at the moment when making the decision regarding the presented financial scenarios are: the economic situation in the country, the availability of shareholders, stability and debt capacity that crosses the company to its charge.
