Abstract:

In this project, the state of MAPFRE ATLAS network is identified and analyzed. The main problems of current network are bandwidth, security, availability, redundancy and hierarchy. The solution of the problem starts with a theoretical conceptual framework of dynamic routing protocols of type IGP and EGP, multiprotocol of data link and networking layers, high availability cluster, data network simulation tools and others with the objective or minimizing threats from the current network. The technological proposal defines operational, technical, economic and legal resources to be used. In order to improve services and performance of the communications network, a network redesign is proposed. This will generate dynamic routing through OSPF protocol (OPEN SHORTEST PATH FIRST), edge routing through BGP protocol (BORDER GATEWAY PROTOCOL), MPLS (MULTIPROTOCOL LABEL SWITCHING), assignment of colors to IP addresses through VRF and high availability cluster for Linux servers.
