Abstract:

This academic article is written under the line of communication and development research with an educommunicational area from the mixed approach through the application of interviews, surveys, field observation, critical reading of authors specialized in the subject and a review of the governmental platform of the Ministry of Education. The influence of Information and Communication Technologies in the educational field has an important impact in recent years, so it is investigated how "Los Shyris" Institute implements digital or virtual resources in academic training and learning methodology of the students. It is necessary to understand how academic activities in general can perform in a more solvent way in environment whit learning, cooperativism, dynamics and educational innovation. The results shown in this work, show a low use of digital media by teachers and students due to the lack of technological resources, maintaining a behavioral model in the teaching processes. Under this precept the government doesn’t support the education. The small existing tools in the institute are underutilized, which prevents innovating methods that lead to an improvement of teaching-learning processes in contexts of social uncertainty.
