Laser linewidth requirements for remote heterodyne OFDM based PON scenario
Abstract:
The relationship between the FFT size, modulation format and laser linewidth is studied in a remote heterodyne scenario where phase noise is compensated by pilot tones. Results indicate that the laser linewidth tolerance directly depends on the bandwidth per subcarrier. © 2014 IEEE.
