Laser-excited fluorescence of BiBr
Abstract:
Laser-excited fluorescence spectra of Bi79Br and Bi81Br were studied by conventional grating spectroscopy. The Ar+ 4765 and 4880 Å lines excite extensive series in the system A0+-X0+. Levels in the ground state were characterized in the range 0 \ ̌ v \ ̌ 35 and fits to several hundred lines were made for the two molecules. Vibrational constants (in cm-1) for the X0+ state of Bi79Br are as follows: ωe = 209.705 ± 0.010 ωe xe = 0.4758 ± 0.0008 ωe ye = (4.85 ± 0.17) × 10-4. © 1986.
